MSHA New Miner Training Requirements?

A newly employed miner must complete new miner training within a specified period after starting work at a mine. If the miner is considered experienced, the miner must receive “experienced miner” training. After completing this initial “experienced miner” or “new miner” training, the miner is then subject to all other training required for “experienced miners” at the mine. MSHA part 46 and part 48.
