Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting (ARFF) Training

Fire Safety and Extinguisher Use:

Approved and registered with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an authorized training provider, Safety Solutions & Supply offers comprehensive fire safety and extinguisher use program for the air service industry. The four-hour course provides training on the hazards, procedures, and use of fire extinguishers as required by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other areas to assure the safety of your employees.

Safety Solutions & Supply conducts this event as a lecture and “hands-on” live-fire training event. Courses are offered at our facility or can be scheduled at your location. Students are expected to wear suitable clothing for the practical portions of this event.

Employee Safety & Compliance Training:

NFPA 407 – Standard for Aircraft Fuel Servicing: safety provisions for procedures, equipment, and installations to protect people, aircraft, and other property during ground fuel servicing of aircraft using liquid petroleum fuels.

NFPA 10 – Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers: standards and requirements to ensure that portable fire extinguishers will work as intended to provide the first line of defense against fires of limited size.

OSHA 1910.157 (g)(1): where the employer has provided portable fire extinguishers for employee use in the workplace, the employer shall also provide an educational program to familiarize employees with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting.
