Fall Protection Competent Person Training
Safety Solutions and Supply’s Fall Protection Competent Person is an 8 hour class that adheres to the standards outlined in OSHA 29 CFR 1926.32 as well as other applicable OSHA standards and will help you identify hazards, selection of equipment, protection vs. prevention, inspections and much more. This program qualifies workers as designated competent persons.

What is a Fall Protection Competent Person?
A competent person is defined by OSHA as a designated person with sufficient experience and/or knowledge to recognize fall hazards, correct unsafe conditions, and who has the ability to shut down the worksite until any hazards are corrected. The competent person is a knowledgeable person, in this case about fall protection, on site.
