OSHA 30 General Industry
Safety Solutions and Supply offers OSHA 30, General Industry training authorized by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The OSHA 30 is a thirty hour program presented over 4 days which can be provided at our state of the art facility or at your location by our OSHA Training Institute (OTI) certified instructors, based on your training needs. Upon completion all student will receive an official OSHA 30 hour card, approved by the Department of Labor.
The 30-hour General Industry provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces and includes the following topics:
- Introduction to OSHA
- OSHA Inspection Procedures and Safety Programs
- Hazard Communication
- Exit Route, Emergency Action Plans
- Fire Prevention and Protection
- Flammable and Combustible Liquids
- Machine Guarding
- Confined Space
- Blood borne Pathogens
- Industrial Hygiene and
Does OSHA require OSHA 30 training?
OSHA strongly recommends this courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers. However, some states have enacted laws mandating the training. Also, some employers, unions, organizations or other jurisdictions may also require this training. All students receive certification cards upon completion of the event and are recorded in our Training & Education Activity Manager (T.E.A.M.) database.
