Safety Solutions and Supply’s 8-hour Supervisor Training is a customized class to meet your needs and will adhere to MSHA standards and the standards outlined in OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 and other standard requirements. This program is designed to support the first-line production, maintenance, or construction supervisor in managing safety effectively in the work area.

The program discusses how to effectively identify and manage hazards in the work area through the development of safety plans and job hazard analysis, coaching and positive reinforcement to promote safe core values, engaging employees in the safety process, conducting practical supervisor training, and managing the events and activities daily that are the foundation of a safe environment.

What are the requirements for Supervisor Safety Training?

Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 1910 states that employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on various hazards in their workplace at the time of their initial assignment and whenever changes occur. Specifically in the areas of:
• Hazard Communication Standard.
• Emergency Action Plan Standard.
• Fire Safety.
• Exit Routes.
• Walking/Working Surfaces.
• Medical and First Aid.
